Higher management level higher time horizon of decisions will be. Senior management uses lot of experience and unstructured knowledge in combination with company key performance indicators to make strategic decisions. Mid management uses combination of unstructured and structured knowledge to solve problems while low management has least possibilities, smallest range of possible actions. Their tasks are highly in routines.
