Excel mappings systematic solution

There was a good question from colleagues, is there a systematic solution for manual maintenance of mapping and translation tables? Yes there is, Master Data Management (MDM).

Especially if many mappings from more production systems are made in Excel sheets.

Question was provoked with many process problems caused with usage of Excel sheets in processes and in conjunction with company Information System. Excel sheets with mappings cause at least double job in company. Tested in practice, unfortunately.
