Automatic solutions for generating reports or analysis are highly welcomed by Management, because human workforce can be reduced from repetitive and demanding tasks. Management favors automatic solutions and always pushes toward this goal.

Fact is, despite so many tools it is very hard to make automation in very versatile and dynamic information environment.
So, some automation faking can happen if management pushes to hard and unreasonably asks that everything should be like they think should be, not what expert say.
At the end to show that something is automated like report IT expert could do manual work between data import, processing and data publishing.
