Business intelligence is not a fraud but all the fuss around, hype and buzz distorts painful job beneath Business Intelligence that is more important to be properly set then Business Intelligence itself with all goodies it brings. Problem is in approach and with inadequate literature and missing documentation.

Furthermore just calculate how much can Business Intelligence improve enterprise if success implementation rate of Datawarehouse project is below 40%, rate of CRM 20%, ERP…, and Billing, and etc. Just multiply figures and you’ll see that possibility to have proper feed of Business Intelligence is very low. This is just implementation. Many products got worser later and become unusable. In this context, yes Business intelligence is a lie and you don’t need it.
