Spoiled and Lazy Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence Reporting Users

There was no life before Data Warehousing System! Once it is installed and operative many users simply forget how to gather data.

It is far easier to order all reporting through Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence system instead to dig on own data from production systems. Data Warehouse is perfect excuse, because if data Warehouse will not be capable to deliver required Key Performance Indicators or any other data from production systems it is piece of cake to declare that data is not available. Users will not deliver data and will say that corporate Information System (DWH/BI) is not ready for data delivery.

That is interesting psychological effect: collective amnesia of how data was gathered before DWH and BI. Or we simply like to be lazy
