Data Forensics

If company insists on investigating every aspect of business intelligence reporting errors then we are talking about data forensic. It is mandatory to be aware about reporting mistakes that happened but too big focus on every detail of generated error (who made mistake, who signed, who defined process, was everything under procedure, what is the error impact and etc.) Does not necessary lead to better current reporting. Such detailed revisions will bring more scarcity and fear into reporting participants (business intelligence experts, reporting experts, MDM and similar) and nobody will dear to suggest ideas of how to improve reports. Any entrepreneurship is punished.

Lot of data forensic work saturates quality of current and future reporting.

Everybody is scared and does not want to implement anything new if it is not strictly ordered. New products will not be placed in reports on time. Even more work for internal audit and data forensics.
