Financial deep field view

Deep field view concept somehow is very likely to be chosen by those CFOs who are in charge during BI solution implementation. Concept is based on the idea that financial data is more or less derived from some other processes in company, as of course it is. Financial data marts get enriched with source of data that means they have much more business dimensions than standard financial data marts. It is done by connecting financial general ledger data with sources of those data that are in sales, HR, credit line handling, and other sources.

Meaning, by drilling from financial data from account that represent domestic sales account, user drills through to customer, its locations, to goods that have been sold and so on. Similar process is done as user drills through HR related accounts; giving user possibility to see how financial data is derived and somehow it gives user deep field of view on data.
